We Are Turning 3: Help Us #Giveimperfect!

We can hardly believe it. In just 3 years we’ve expanded to 7 cities across the country and recovered 30 million pounds of produce.

We want to get you involved in the festivities! What better way to celebrate our birthday than a festival of edible generosity? All you need to do is share some produce with someone in your life! Here’s how:

• Keep an eye out for the birthday card in your next Imperfect box. Inside this card, you’ll find a cute little card for you to use in spreading the birthday love.
• Share a piece of produce with someone in your life (like a friend, housemate, partner, stranger, or celebrity) and take a photo of this gift.
• Post your photo to social media using the hashtag #giveimperfect.
• For every hashtag used, we’ll donate a meal to a food bank at the end of August and one lucky Imperfect customer will get to pick which food bank! The more we all share, the more we get to give back in the end. How cool is that?

In 3 years, we’ve seen the power of sharing and generosity first hand. Amazing things happen when we find new ways to spread love through fruit and vegetables, things like free farmers markets, nifty ways to clean your kitchen, and using pears to help end hunger.
