We’ve got sweet, smoky news for you, San Francisco! We’ve partnered with chef Nick Balla (of Bar Tartine, Duna, and Smokebread) to offer you a one-of-a-kind bread in your next box! You can now get chef Balla’s signature smoked potato sourdough bread (what a mouthful) delivered to your door!
This bread, made with Imperfect potatoes, is wonderfully thick, soft, and subtly smoky. It also happens to pair with everything. Our staff’s favorite dipping companions were hummus and roasted red pepper dip.
We’ll be offering limited quantities in our Bay Area boxes, so be sure to customize early so you don’t miss out on the chance to try a loaf.
Down the road, you can expect more delicious breads from Nick Balla, starring different Imperfect produce like zucchini, onions, winter squash, and more. We are also working to partner with him on more upcycled veggie products like spreads, dips, and fruit butter.
