We’ve got sweet, smoky news for you, Bay Area!
We’ve partnered with chef Nick Balla of Bar Tartine, Duna, and Smokebread to offer you a one-of-a-kind bread in your next box! You can now get chef Balla’s signature smoked potato sourdough bread (a delicious mouthful indeed) delivered to your door!
This bread, made with our ugly potatoes, is one-of-a-kind. The texture of the potatoes makes the bread extra tender, while the slight smokiness makes the bread extra savory, almost meaty in flavor. It also happens to pair with everything. Our staff favorites dipping companions were hummus and roasted red pepper dip.
We’ll be offering limited quantities in our Bay Area boxes, so be sure to customize early so you don’t miss out on the chance to try a loaf.
Down the road, you can expect more delicious breads from Nick, starring different Imperfect produce like zucchini, onions, winter squash and more. We are also working to partner with him on more upcycled veggie product like spreads, dips, and fruit butters.
