Our Partnership With Feeding America

Imperfect Foods is proud to announce our partnership with Feeding America®, the nation’s largest organization dedicated to fighting domestic hunger through a nationwide network of food banks. At a time when an estimated 50 million people in the US are experiencing hunger, Feeding America’s fight to end hunger throughout the country is more important than ever. That’s why in 2021, we’re committed to providing at least 1.5 million meals* to help ensure people get the food they need to thrive.

We’ve always been inspired and motivated by causes bigger than ourselves and bigger than our company. Since our founding, we have donated nearly 8 million pounds of food to nonprofit partners providing critical hunger relief and support to our local communities. These relationships are essential to transforming our food system and we will continue to grow them in the future. The past year has made it an imperative that we find more ways to make an impact on hunger, which is why we’re directly investing in hunger relief on a national level in partnership with Feeding America.

As we’ve grown, so has our deep sense of responsibility to use food as a force for good, whether by having mindful conversations about the devastating impact of food apartheid on communities of color, or increasing access to healthy, affordable groceries for low-income customers through our Reduced Cost Box Program. Our commitment to Feeding America is an opportunity to deepen our collective impact and grow the movement to nourish a kinder food system.

We invite you to join us in nourishing our communities. From now through June, you can double your impact when you donate to Feeding America through this link. We’ll match your gift dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000, meaning that for each dollar you donate we’ll help provide 20 meals* to neighbors faced with  hunger. Together, we can feed change.
