Undersized produce is often rejected from traditional grocery stores for not meeting size standards, but why should that mean we’re all deprived of its adorable charm?

Grape-ful for a community that loves the little guys as much as we do. 🥰

Today we’re celery-brating two women doing big things for big animals: Katherine and Krystal!

Katherine has been volunteering with @primarily_primates since 2021, picking up donated produce from Imperfect Foods to bring to the sanctuary for the 300+ animals who call it home. Rain, shine, or snow, she’s committed to getting these primates the food they need.

And shout out to another woman with a big heart, Executive Director Krystal. She’s dedicated her career to caring for animals in need. At Primarily Primates, she makes sure the animals have the appropriate diet, environment, and enrichment opportunities they need to stay happy and healthy.

Ever wondered about those little numbers inside th

Ever wondered about those little numbers inside the recycle triangle icon? ♻️

Number 1 and 2 plastics are the most recycled worldwide. They can be turned back into plastic for more packaging, or transformed into clothing and even building materials.

Some #4 and 5 plastics technically can be recycled, but plastic bags and film tend to tangle up recycling machinery. Instead of putting these in your bin, collect them and drop them off at specially designated bins, often at the entrance of grocery stores.

Number 3, 6, and 7 plastics are difficult to recycle and often end up in the landfill.

The bottom line of this plastic PSA is: it depends! Check online to see what plastics are recycled in your area and where to drop off difficult to recycle items. And whenever possible, refuse, reduce, reuse, THEN recycle! ♻️🌎 #globalrecyclingday
